  1.                         Application Pad (Version 4.0a)

  3. 0)      This release fixes the hanging problem that you may experience  in the
  4. previous release 4.0.
  5.  
  6. 1)      This program  provides you  with an  alternative  to  Window's Program 
  7. Manager. It is an application pad that stays only on one side of your  screen.
  8. You can launch your favorite programs from it. It comes with a  digital clock, 
  9. a calender, an X-EYES, a screen  blanker, a 4-Screen Virtual Desktop and more!
  10. The  online help  that comes with the software provides a detailed explanation
  11. of the functionality of the program. This is a FULLY FUNCTIONAL program! 
  12. (However,  unregistered  versions of  this  program  will have a  message  box
  13. appearing once every few minutes.)

  15. 2)      You  must install  AppPad using AppPad's Windows Setup program  called
  16. APESETUP.EXE. You may want to backup old AppPad's  INI  files  and  delete old 
  17. AppPad files before you begin the installation.

  19. 3)      I hope you will find this program useful .  The Application Pad is NOT 
  20. a FREEWARE.  The programmer has spent many hours to write it and is constantly
  21. improving it.   You can keep  and try it out  for a maximum period of 10 days. 
  22. Thereafter,  if you so decide  to continue to use it,  you are to  register by 
  23. sending  US$20 to the address  given below.   Registered users will be given a 
  24. registration  number and will  receive future  upgrades at $5  (less  shipping
  25. & handling).
